Gallery Hop: 9th Annual Youth Arts Council Exhibition 2018

Friday, May 18th 5-8pm

Please join us for our Youth Arts Council Exhibition 2018 to support the inspiring efforts and creativity of our area youth.  This collaborative exhibition between Lexington’s Youth Arts Council (YAC), LexArts, and the Living Arts and Science Center (LASC) will feature the interesting expressions of many of this community’s most talented young artists.  Submitted art created by area high school students will be on display in the LASC’s recently renovated Kinkead Gallery.  The complete exhibition dates are May 17th through June 23rd.  This is a juried exhibition/competition.  An awards presentation will take place at 6:00PM during the Gallery Hop reception on Friday, May 18th.

This year’s participating artists include: Leena Haider, Olivia Greer,  and Palmer Beldy from Sayre School, Keller Hufana, Alexia Ruiz, Rhianna Culp, Elizabeth Moore, Cameron Brown, and Alyson Cruse from Henry Clay High School, Amelia Armstrong, Chyenne Price, William Ding, Sydney Sun, Samantha Walker, Ridham Bhavsar, Nicole Wong, Morgan Slone, Megan Slusarewicz, Megan Guan, Meeral Saeed, Maria Moreno, Maggie Fan, Lauren Meacham, J.T. Salyer, Jenna Woolums, Flor Mucino, Chase Faulkner, Jennifer Lee, Lindsay Maystead,  Shuyang Deng, Caitlin Labianca, Nahideli Torres, Paualina Martinez, Yostin Blanco, Joseph Brandewie, John Christopher Di Girolamo, Emma Draper, and Jacob A. Chapman from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Cristina Mendez, Sophia Gonzales, Hunter Thomas cook, Aya Eqal, David Pezzi, Emily Brown, and Natalie Fowler from Tates Creek High School, Jared Reding, Hayden B.
