Professional Development: Engineering in the Classroom

A FREE PD Opportunity Open to all K-8 Educators in Kentucky
Learn how you can make engineering a part of your classroom in this fun, hands-on workshop. From electrical robots to building Rube Goldberg contraptions, learn new ideas to incorporate engineering concepts across the curriculum. Create examples and take home projects to use with your students!
The Living Arts & Science Center promotes academic achievement and scientific understanding by empowering teachers to engage students in creative and hands-on learning experiences that reflect the many ways that science and art are practiced, applied, and interrelated. LASC workshops are dynamic, relevant, and always based on Kentucky core concepts. All workshop participants will receive a unit of study complete with lesson plans and a hands-on classroom activity items along with a certificate of completion.
