Explore the science and beauty of snowflakes, create your own snow globes, and bundle up for a special planetarium show. It’s a winter adventure you won’t want to miss!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Students must have their own form of transportation to and from LASC.
Winter WonderLab & Breakfast with the Mean Green One
Join us for a magical Winter WonderLab experience at The Living Arts & Science Center
Enjoy a festive day filled with Donuts with the Mean Green One, special Animal Meet-and-Greets, and exciting Live Science demonstrations. Cozy up for Story Time with the Mean Green One and explore fun, hands-on holiday activities throughout the building. Our Planetarium Show will be playing on a loop all day, and guests can get creative by crafting their own pine trees sculpted from clay.
A full day of winter wonder and family-friendly fun awaits!
Victorian Flower Pendant
Explore with Artist Christine Kuhn the magic of Victorian flower meanings and letters as you craft a beautiful pendant—then uncover the inspiring stories of Lexington’s trailblazing women.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.
All ages ( 18 & under needs to be accompanied by an adult)

January 2nd | No School Day Class | Winter Lab
Join us for a creative class where students explore the science and beauty of winter through hands-on projects. Blending art and simple experiments, students will discover the unique aspects of ice, snow, and crystallization. This class encourages observation, critical thinking, and artistic expression, perfect for young scientists and artists alike!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.
Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
January 19th | No School Day Class | Cook-Off
Become young chefs in this fun cooking class! Join us as we explore tasty recipes and compete in friendly food challenges! Students will learn basic kitchen skills, food safety, and how to follow simple recipes while building teamwork and creativity.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.
