September Discovery Saturday: Trash to Treasure
Every third Saturday of the month is Discovery Saturday, a FREE day of exploration, themed activities, and fun at Lexington's only multi-generational art & science museum!
September 19th from 10 AM - 2 PM, we invite the community to the grand opening of our newest Discovery Room exhibit, "Anything But Trash!" where people of all ages can learn about the importance of recycling at all it's stages. There'll be plenty of hands-on activities, including arts & crafts made from recycled materials, a composting demonstration, and much more! And make sure to stop by and say hello to our friends from Bank of America, who'll be set up on-site during the Discovery Saturday fun.

Lost Arts Art Club | Soap Making

This class will teach you the basics of making handmade soap. Learn about different soap-making techniques, scents, colors, and ingredients while creating your very own custom bars to take home and enjoy!

Calling all history lovers! Join us for a fun-filled Election Day of art and learning adventure!
Students will explore the story of the United States through exciting art projects, music, and interactive learning. Students will explore famous U.S. landmarks and even sculpt their own landmarks, dive into stories from the Revolutionary War, learn the basics of sewing by creating their very own American flag, and bring American history to life through creativity and imagination. Join us this Election Day for a red, white, and blue creative adventure your child won’t forget!

In this Winter Break No School Day Class: Antarctica Adventures, students will explore the unique, frigid world of Antarctica and all of the wonders it holds.
Join us for a day filled with excitement, science and art about the frozen climates that encompass the arctic regions of the world! This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.

Putt Putt Par-TEE
2nd Annual Putt Putt Par-TEE to benefit Arts & Science Education in Kentucky
We are celebrating our 10 years in the Lucille Caudill Little Discovery Center! Think back to your 10 year old birthday party. Now add a custom putt putt course, pay to play games, and have a blast playing like a kid again. Grab your tickets ahead of time to secure pre-sale pricing!
