How can we use the world around us to create beautiful pieces of art? In this class, we’ll collect materials such as fallen flowers, pinecones, bark, and leaves from LASC’s own backyard to create mixed-media collages with watercolors. We’ll also make mini field-notebooks, draw from life, make textured rubbings, and learn about local flora and fauna. Get inspired by interacting with the various animals housed inside the building, and the multitude of life outside too!
