When school is out, fun is in at the LASC. Students pre-school to high-school enjoy classes that spark their imagination in a fun, inspiring environment with first-class instruction. Full day and half day schedules available. BYOL (bring your own lunch). Free time provided outdoors when weather permits.

Pre-K (ages 3-5): The Turkey Who Forgot How to Gobble

K-2nd: R.A.D.- Really Awesome Drawing!

Teacher: Mr. Eugene | November 24th, 9:00am – 4:00pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Grades: K-2nd

Students will learn unconventional methods and use non-traditional tools to create experimental drawings. Make ink drawings and use drawing utensils to learn new techniques for creating art. Join us and step out of your drawing comfort zone.

K-2nd: Creating with Nature

Teacher: Miss Abigail| November 24th, 9:00am – 4:00pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Grades: K-2nd

How can we use the world around us to create beautiful pieces of art? In this class, we’ll collect materials such as fallen flowers, pinecones, bark, and leaves from LASC’s own backyard to create mixed-media collages with watercolors. We’ll also make mini field-notebooks, draw from life, make textured rubbings, and learn about local flora and fauna. Get inspired by interacting with the various animals housed inside the building, and the multitude of life outside too!

3rd-5th: Woodland Pom-Pom Critters

Teacher: Miss Morgan | November 24th, 9:00am – 4:00pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Grades: 3rd-5th

Students will learn to create their own unique pompoms. Then add fabric and bring your pop-poms to life like animals. Whether the animal is a spring bunny or a prehistoric dinosaur, these creatures are sure to pom-pom perfect!

3rd-5th: Native American Art & Culture

Teacher: Miss Melissa | November 24th, 9:00am – 4:00pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Grades: 3rd-5th

Take this opportunity to create a memorable collector’s piece which honors and reflects Native American culture.  This class will include a view of several tribes and how their culture influences us today.

6th-12th: The Independent Teen’s Guide to Cooking

Teacher: Miss Amanda | November 24th, 9:00am – 4:00pm | $95 ($85 Members)
Grades: 6th-12th

Learn how to navigate the kitchen with easy and healthy meals. No grown-ups necessary! Students will scramble eggs, blend smoothies, and create quesadillas and more in this yummy class.
