#LASCinspires creative and critical thinkers. Please help us continue this important mission with a gift to BGGIVES.org/lasc. All monies received directly support scholarship programs ensuring our award-winning programs remain available to all. Thank you for your contribution.
The Living Arts & Science Center inspires creative and critical thinking for 45,000 children and adults annually by providing hands-on, interactive art and science education. Our state-of-the-art Lucille Little Discovery Center and historic Kincaid House offer Lexington’s only planetarium, teaching kitchen, science exhibit, art galleries, digital media and clay studios, classrooms and gardens. Your support keeps class costs low, provides scholarships and makes free programs available to all.
LASC offers over 500 creative and inspiring classes, camps, workshops, field trips, interactive exhibits and family programs that are taught by education professionals and experts in their field. If you can’t come to us, we travel to 35 Kentucky counties with interactive art and science experiences called WOW: Wonders on Wheels. We serve hundreds of students yearly with Art and our award-winning Science Explorers after school programs in under served schools. LASC offers FREE and low cost cultural and educational opportunities like Day of the Dead Festival, Family Fun Day, and monthly Discovery Night and Saturday programs.
