ALISON CLENDENEN received a M.Ed. in School Administration from Marymount University and a B.A. in Communications Art from Roanoke College. She was an art educator in Virginia and founded the art department at Seton Catholic School in Lexington. She has also led summer art camps. At Employment Solutions, Inc. as Director of Expressive Programs, she worked in partnership with adult artists with intellectual challenges and physical handicaps. She has experience at the LASC since 2005. For her, “Teaching and being immersed in a variety of mediums, styles, textures, and colors is important. Kids have fun, learn, and laugh as they connect to their creative selves, others, and the limitless outer art world!”
