COVID-19 Protocols & FAQs
In accordance with CDC guidelines, mask requirements in our building will be based on the level of COVID-19 in our community.
If Fayette County, Kentucky is:
High Level (Red) – masks are required at all times in our building (the only exception is infants ages 2 and under)
Medium Level (Yellow) – masks are recommended while indoors and around others
Low Level (Green) – masks are optional
Does LASC require masks?
The Living Arts & Science Center follows CDC guidelines and Fayette County regulations and may require masks based on the levels of COVID-19 within our community. We are currently recommending all patrons, visitors, and students over the age of 2 to wear a mask while in our building. Disposable masks are available at the front entrance if anyone needs them.
Can LASC make accommodations for me?

The Farish Planetarium
Masks are recommended in the planetarium at all levels of Fayette County guidelines. Masks will always be available at the front entrance and Farish Planetarium tickets are available for $5 at the front desk. Click HERE for a full planetarium schedule.
