Summer Camp Week 1: June 2nd-6th 

Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-12th

Summer Camp Week 1, June 2nd-6th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members) 

Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.

Sprout Scouts
Grades: Pre-K (Ages 3-5)

Teacher: Grace Kistner | June 2nd-6th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)

Join us for a fun-filled class where preschoolers will discover the wonders of nature through fun hands-on activities. Students will explore, learn, and grow through hands-on activities in the great outdoors. Your little ones will become nature detectives as they embark on scavenger hunts, create nature crafts, and discover the wonders of plants, animals, and the world around them. Each day will be a new opportunity to nurture their curiosity, teamwork, and love for the environment. Perfect for preschoolers ready to explore, play, and make new friends. 

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Monster Mash: The Art of Clay and Mache
Grades: K-2nd

Unleash your creativity and sculpt your own creepy creatures! Get ready for a monster-sized adventure at Monster Mash! In this hands-on, spook-tacular camp, young artists will explore the world of sculpture using clay, paper mache, and other cool crafting materials to bring their wildest monster creations to life. Whether you're designing a friendly monster or a fierce, scary beast, this camp is all about embracing the imagination and having fun with art.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Under the Big Top
Grades: K-5th

Teachers: Hannah Yates & Caroline Schill | June 2nd-6th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)
Grades: K-5th 

Join the LASC Circus Troupe! In this class, students will get to use their visionary minds to create their own fun-filled classroom circus. We’ll learn some awesome skills including juggling silks and puppet making. Students will then get to spend the second half of their day in the ceramics studio creating an astonishing circus scene made fully from clay. By learning to hand-build in clay, students will acquire many new art skills they can take with them.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Assemblage Adventure
Grades: 3rd-5th

Teacher: Sophia Dominci | June 2nd-6th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Join us for a creative and eco-friendly summer camp where imagination meets sustainability! In the Recycled Assemblage camp, kids will dive into the world of upcycling and reusing materials to create unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces and functional projects. Throughout the week, campers will explore different art forms, using everyday discarded items such as plastic bottles, old newspapers, cardboard, and fabric scraps to build sculptures, functional gadgets, and even wearable art! They’ll learn the importance of recycling and how to think outside the box (literally!) to make something beautiful and useful. By the end of the adventure, campers will not only have a deeper appreciation for recycling but will also leave with a collection of their own handmade creations, ready to inspire others with their eco-conscious innovation.

Craft Lab
Grades: 6th-8th

Teacher: Gaby Hoss | June 2nd-6th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)
Grades: 6th-8th grade 

Welcome to The Craft Lab where the world of DIY meets imagination! In this creative camp students will dive deep into the exciting world of arts and crafts, exploring new ways to express themselves through design. From custom tote bags and eye-catching collages to vibrant paintings and other unique projects, students will have the chance to experiment with a wide range of materials and craft techniques. Students will also explore their artistic process, collaborate with fellow classmates and gain skills to continue crafting long after camp ends. Each student will walk away with a portfolio of their favorite creations and the confidence to tackle any craft project that comes their way.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Ceramics in the Kitchen
Ages: 18+

Teacher: Alyssa Givens | June 2nd-6th, 9:00am - 12:00pm | $215 ($190 Members)
Ages 18+ 

Unleash your creativity while creating functional and beautiful pieces for your kitchen in this hands-on ceramics class! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with clay, this class will guide you through the process of designing and crafting handmade kitchenware such as mugs, bowls, plates, and more. You’ll learn basic ceramic techniques including hand-building, glazing, and finishing, while also exploring the art of making pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their dining experience or give thoughtful, handmade gifts.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. 

Learning Lounge LASC Aftercare
Grades: K-12th

Summer Camp Week 1, June 2nd-6th | K-12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)

Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm.
