Summer Camp Week 4: June 23rd-27th
Morning Meditation: LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-12th
Summer Camp Week 4, June 23rd-27th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Cloud Climbers
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: Grace Kistner | June 23rd-27th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Get ready to soar high with our "Cloud Climbers" summer camp, where your little adventurers will embark on an exciting journey through the skies! This camp is designed for preschoolers, offering a fun-filled blend of imaginative play, hands-on crafts, and outdoor exploration. We’ll explore questions like: What makes the wind blow? Why do clouds float? How does rain fall from the sky? With a focus on imagination and discovery, this camp will help your preschooler reach new heights—both in their abilities and in their dreams!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Throw some Dough
Grades: K-2nd

Get ready to throw some dough! The LASC famous combo cooking and ceramics class. Students will spend the morning learning cooking basics, food presentation, how to cook and prepare their own soups salads, and more. After lunch students will head into the clay studio and create their own dishware to use with their newly acquired cooking skills. Students will learn ceramic hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Let’s Go Camping
Grades: K-5th
Teacher: Brittany Morton | June 23rd-27th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Get ready for a fun-filled adventure where we bring camping in-doors for the week. In this exciting summer camp class, we’ll explore the basics of camping. From learning to set up tents and cooking camping friendly meals to learning outdoor safety and wildlife observation, this class is perfect for kids who want to connect with nature. Along the way, we'll play games, tell stories, learn about animals and make lots of crafts. We’ll end the week by having a campout under the star in LASC’s planetarium!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Mythical Creatures in Clay and Mache
Grades: 3rd-5th

Unleash your creativity and sculpt your own mythical creatures from your imagination! Get ready for a mythical-sized adventure with clay and mache art styles! In this hands-on, magical camp, young artists will explore the world of sculpture using clay, paper mache, and other cool crafting materials to bring their wildest creations to life. Whether you're designing a friendly fairy, magical castle, or a fierce, scary beast, this camp is all about embracing the imagination and having fun with art.

Food or Fake
Grades: 6th-8th
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | June 23rd-27th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $365 ($340 Members)
Grades: 6th-8th grade
Cooking and Sculpture in the same class, who would have thought! In this class, students will take a deep dive into learning basic cooking skills and then take it a step further by creating fun food sculptures. Students will learn to bake and cook simple meals that their whole family can enjoy for dinner. Students will also spend some of the afternoons learning to work with paper mache and plaster. They will be creating 3D sculptures in the representation of REAL food items. Don't miss the ultimate food challenge. Is it real or fake?

Learning Lounge Aftercare
Grades: K - 12th
Summer Camp Week 4, June 23rd-27th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students need to be picked up by 5:30pm.
