Summer Camp Week 6: July 7th-11th
Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-12
Summer Camp Week 6, July 7th-11th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Rainforest Rangers
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: Hannah Yates | July 7th-11th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)

Calling all Rainforest Rangers! This fun and educational camp is perfect for young explorers who are eager to discover the wonders of the rainforest and develop new skills through hands-on learning experiences. Students will learn about nature exploration, wildlife discovery, environmental awareness and much more! Let’s get ready to learn and explore!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Gardening Galore
Grades: K-2nd

Get ready to play in the dirt and dive into the world of gardening. Whether you’re a budding gardener or a seasoned green thumb, Gardening Galore has something for everyone. Explore the basics of plant care, learn how to start your own garden from scratch, and discover the wonders of growing flowers, vegetables, herbs and so much more!

Lost Treasure Expedition
Grades: K-5th

Ahoy, matey! Embark on a swashbucking journey to uncover the secrets of the high seas at Lost Treasure Expedition Camp. This summer, students will chart their own course to find the fabled lost treasure chest hidden deep in the heart of the island. Along the way, students will design their own pirate maps, craft and decorate customs ships, and face thrilling scavenger hunts. Get ready for a sea of adventure as you learn about mythical sea creatures, marine life, and the legends of the ocean’s depths. Will your crew be the one to claim the ultimate treasure? Only time will tell in this epic pirate adventure.

Color Spectrum Adventures: Exploring Light, Prisms, and the Science of Stars

Summer Camp for Curious Minds. Dive into the dazzling world of light, color, and cosmic wonders at Color Spectrum Adventures! This exciting summer camp is perfect for young explorers who are fascinated by science, the mysteries of the universe, and the magic of rainbows. Students will spend time in the LASC’s Farish Planetarium, looking at stars, identifying constellations and much more. Get ready for colorful crafts, mind blowing experiments and much more!

Fiber Arts Festival
Grades: 6th-8th
Teacher: Sophia Dominici | July 7th-11th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Join LASC for a week of fiber fun! Each day students will learn a new fundamental skill in sewing and crochet. Students will also discover exciting artists that utilize these techniques and materials. By the end of the week students will not only have a wealth of fiber art knowledge, but also several of their very own fiber sculptures to bring home!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Ceramics in the Kitchen
Ages: 18+
Teacher: Alyssa Givens | July 7th-11th, 9:00am - 12:00pm | $215 ($190 Members)

Unleash your creativity while creating functional and beautiful pieces for your kitchen in this hands-on ceramics class! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with clay, this class will guide you through the process of designing and crafting handmade kitchenware such as mugs, bowls, plates, and more. You’ll learn basic ceramic techniques including hand-building, glazing, and finishing, while also exploring the art of making pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their dining experience or give thoughtful, handmade gifts.

Learning Lounge LASC Aftercare
Grades: K-12th
Summer Camp Week 6, July 7th-11th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities, and recreation time after class. Students need to be picked up by 5:30 pm.
