With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, what better way to kick off the holiday than with a couple’s wheel-throwing class? Grab your partner or friend and join local artist Sophia Dominici for a fun/messy night of romantic wheel-throwing.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Price includes two tickets and all materials supplied.

Beginner Basketry : Learn to Weave an Egg Basket
Instructor: Janet Northern | March 22nd, 10am-2pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Price includes 4-hour class and all materials
Ages 18+
Join the LASC with well-known basket weaver Janet Northern. This class will teach you the basics of weaving a handmade egg basket. Learn various techniques and basketry tricks as well as getting to take home your very own egg basket made from reed material.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. A sack lunch is recommended.
Ceramics in the Kitchen

Ages 18+

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with clay, this class will guide you through the process of designing and crafting handmade kitchenware such as mugs, bowls, plates, and more. You’ll learn basic ceramic techniques including hand-building, glazing, and finishing, while also exploring the art of making pieces that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to their dining experience or give thoughtful, handmade gifts.

You’ll learn various techniques such as hand-building, molding, and glazing to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Along the way, you'll discover how to combine texture, color, and form to make your designs truly personal.
